Hi the shetlands Pedigrees made 100-130.The Kerry hills made £70.00. Yes its mad when 1 Cockeril makes more than a pig.Top price was a Zwartble ewe at £260.00 Wensleydales bid to £170 and owner never sold.did anyone see what the Longhorn and calf made as was at the poultry and missed that one. Thanks

Thanks allyb, a good price for the Shetlands I would have thought the Kerrys would have fetched more maybe not pedigree or of not so good a quality or just no demand.

Mays the road you sold was a very good foundation cock bird i bid to 40 for that att 50 it was still cheap there are 3 breeders after good roads it has to be a good size for cross breeding. Iff we new it was from the same line we would of had it att that price ,credit to youre stock.3 utilatey roads will make 25 per hen they have to be utilatey good egg strain. I also missed the roadbar number 62 i wonder whot that made i bet 70 or more.

thank you VF, I am having a rest from cockerels for the summer as they get up to early! but will bring on some more next winter, I have a good lot of his stock in my free range flock, tempted to show some of them as they are are good looking healthy hens :) I crossed him with a Speckeldy Lady and got this stunner (pictured young pullet):

Does anyone know what the Gotlands went for?
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.
