Marcotting / air layering
« on: May 18, 2012, 11:37:16 pm »
Have any of you practiced marcotting / air layering to propagate Cherry Laurels conifers especially Leylandi  or any other evergreen such as Holly ??  If so have you any tips to pass on .
I've known about air layering for years after doing it to a masive rubber plant years and years ago to get sone pocket money from baby plants.

I've had a good read of the RHS website and several others about it but you never know , some of you may have tips not given in those sites.
