Thanks for the Forum!
« on: May 01, 2012, 10:55:04 pm »
Every day I switch on my computer and look forward to logging onto the Sheep Forum and reading all the letters. I 've 4 pet sheep, 2 years old, Mule x Charolais. I read the letters with joy, sadness, amazement and encouragement that there are so many people out there who love their sheep as much as I do! My heart goes out to everyone who has lambed and is still lambing - the heartbreak and the joys it brings. I just want to say thank you to everyone who takes part on this Forum. I've asked lots of questions and am sure there'll be a lot more  being a novice to sheep keeping and don't feel embarrassed to ask the simplest of things because I feel everyone is so friendly and helpful. The advice and info. given on here is so useful - I have a little book to write down all the useful tips I come across - things for bloat, remedies for poisoning etc etc. I wondered if there is anyone living near to me - north notts area? Anyway thank you Rosemary for setting up this Forum - its' GREAT!!

It's really interesting reading about peoples' different experiences and gleaning a lot of information some of which has been very useful.  Another wholehearted thank you!

Agreed.  It's a wee goldmine of friendship and information.  I shouldn't say this but, very often better advice here than from my vet.

Thanks all - we find it as useful as everyone else  :)

Dan's the real one to thank - he does all the techy stuff and most of the moderation ie he's in charge of the naughty step  ;D

I have visited a few other similar sites but this is the best by far, different class. Rock on Dan & Rosemary.
Shetland sheep, Castlemilk Moorits sheep, Hebridean sheep, Scots Grey Bantams, Scots Dumpy Bantams. Shetland Ducks.

We'll turn the dust to soil,
Turn the rust of hate back into passion.
It's not water into wine
But it's here, and it's happening.
Massive,
but passive.

Bring the peace back

Anyway, you're all the forum. Without you, it's only a bit of software - so thanks and congratulations to all our contributors. Take a well earned bow  :trophy:
