Really - unless you are sure of your breeds, do not try this.  The only time I have ever been truly concerned for my safety amongst cattle was when a friend of mine did this to a Limousin heifer.  I remain convinced that the three of us would have been one of those 'cattle trample walkers' stories had there not been a convenient wall to leap over  :o

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
