Has anyone else had trouble hatching off Barnavelder eggs? I have tried a couple of batches but had very poor results.
I have bought the eggs from a reliable source and the incubator is fine (other eggs have been Ok in it) - I know it's quite early in the season to be hatching ... but we only got 2 from 14 - making them very expensive chicks! (And what's the betting they're both male ..!). Does anyone know if the breed is particularly difficult to hatch?
