Morning all! Newbie here...
« on: March 20, 2009, 10:08:48 am »
Greetings - just a quick hello from me.  Found the site yesterday and it looks great place to virtually meet and get advice.

Living in Surrey, grow my own vegs, just buying some land to have pigs and chickens and an orchard if possible.  Will no doubt be back when I need some questions answering!  Thanks in advance. :-*

Welcome from me too.  How is it everyone else can find land except me.  I must get some advice on how to turn my manicured garden into a proper croft without too much expenses, and to find some piece of woodland/rough ground to train my dogs.!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Welcome from Normandy as well.  I would be careful about putting pigs in your orchard.  They will nose up the ground around your trees and eat the roots, so keep them well back!  It will be great fun though!!!
