Hello from Glasgow.
« on: March 24, 2009, 07:37:54 pm »
Hello all my name is Jim and I live in Glasgow in the shadow of Hampden Park, the national football stadium. I have a large garden in which I grow a variety of fruit and vegetables. Having recently attended Rosemary's Poultry Keeping Course, which was great, I have decided to take the plunge and buy a few chickens. I have a coop and built a run large enough for about 5 hens. You all make it sound great fun and very rewarding. No doubt I will have lots of questions. I have a holiday booked at Easter so will wait till I come back before buying the chicks. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Jim, I think you'll find this a very welcoming and helpful forum, I certainly have. I'm a few miles NE of you in Kirkintilloch and there seems to be a few other scattered about not too far from you as well.
