Hi, Just a quick post to say thanks to everyone on here and the folks a Keythorpe Rare Breeds for the help and support with our first two "freezer" pigs. I have lurked here throughout the first twos period with us and found loads of advice so a big thanks! With Keythorpe's. this forum and a couple of books its been pretty straightforward. However how I miss the oinks and grunts and the "what time do you call this looks". We  hope to restock in Sep as we had already booked summer hols (may have to give up!)

I thought it may be useful to repeat a few points.

The last day. The advice to feed in the trailer before the "day" made loading a none issue. Also remember to save some feed back for coaxing them out. Luckily I read the post by some who's pigs refused to come out and was mentally prepared and decided I would shuffle one out after he demonstrated how skilled at avoiding the abbitior mans pig board he was! I reckoned he knew me and would not be to upset and bit not squeal just gave a couple of little grunts.
