but a wreath is easy:
Make (or buy) a circle of wire or bendy twigs. If wire best to make two circles, one smaller than the other, and zigzag some spare wire between them to hold then together.
Get some moss and cover the frame with it - wrap string or thin wire over and over as you go, to hold it in place.
Gather lots of evergreens. Make little bunches or bouquets - 4-5" long if you want a neat wreath, 8" long if you want a shaggier one like mine Wind wire round the stems to hold the bunch together, leaving two long tails of wire. Poke the tails through the moss, twist to secure at the back. Put the head of the next bunch over the stems of the first one and carry in til you've covered it all.
Fasten in bows, baubles, berries, apples (that's what i used), oranges or whatever with wire, to make it colourful.
It really is much more straightforward than you think
