We are running a wood burning stove that heats 8 radiators ( Hunter Herald). Does anyone have any experience of the thermostat control that can be fitted to the stove to change the flow of air into it ( thus changing the rate that wood burns) ?
I guess that the heat output varies with type and quantity of fuel and how much O2 flows into the stove. Given that we can add O2 thru bottom, top and thermostatically controlled vent there are a few variables but if anyone can suggest their preferred method of use it will help us on the learning curve of "stove use". Dam cold in the house today as the gales is blowing thru the dog flap and cracks that I did not know we had.
Any tips?
Cheers Martin
