Help with country fare games!!!
« on: March 20, 2009, 09:39:33 pm »
I have been asked to come up with some good old country style attractions for a stall at the Central Scotland Small holder stand in various events at country shows. I have a few ideas and thought I would pick others brains as mine is full of holes (picked to death) It would be great to have animal or smallholder theme. One we all thought of was guess the weight of the pig, animal face painting, take your photo with a animal painted board maybe.....any more ideas...roll up, roll up!!!

We always loved trowing the wet sponge at the adults as kids.

A lucky dip full of green jelly or spaghetti is also a good one - is still popular now infact. We did it at Halloween last year.

If the weather is right, and you can find enough dried out cow pats:

rolling cowpat down a hill.  Furthest wins

Throwing the cowpat, that is the furthest and most complete wins.

I believe it was done with painted eggs too.
