if this has worked here are my shetland x castlemilk moorits ewe lambs i was given (lucky girlie that i am)

a real chocolate box assortment of colours ;D

We'll turn the dust to soil,
Turn the rust of hate back into passion.
It's not water into wine
But it's here, and it's happening.

They are very cute.  I'm so jealous!  I still haven't found me any Castlemilk Moorit wethers...

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

We will be picking up our starter flock of Castlemilk Moorits this Thursday, 7 ewes and a tup. I think there are some wethers still for sale, I will ask for you and send a PM.

Thanks, but me neither!  (Be patient.)  I am wanting some wethers so I can see if the breed suits us here, and if we can sell / use the wool and like the meat, before plunging in to getting a small breeding flock.  But if those wethers don't turn up soon, I can't promise I won't jump in the jeep and set off to Hampshire where they're selling off the Blacklake flock...  (please don't tell BH...)  Oh!  I'll have to tell BH, he's the only one can transport them that far... unless I also secretly take that trailer test...

we're vegetarian
though someone will have to eat the spare ram lambs :(

mad isn't it? i used to eat my own lambs, but now.....
perhaps i will change my mind with the next pushy wether, i can't be doing with stroppy sheep ;D ;D ;D
