Fruit tree propagation by Tom Adams
After the inspiring talk that Tom gave us earlier this year on all aspects of
woodland management & green woodworking he returns to talk to us about
fruit tree propagation. So if you want to learn more about grafting, root
stocks & taking care of your fruit trees make sure you book in for this talk.
At the meeting there will, also, be:
The Members’ Exchange time, which will include the opportunity for
any announcements about items for sale or wanted.
The raffle.
The Members’ Table, where you can sell any smallholder items.
As usual we will round off the evening with a two-course meal. There is a
charge for the meal of £5.00 per person (£2.50 for child under 10 yrs of
age) but, please, note that booked meals have to be paid for even if you
are unable to attend the meeting as an outside caterer provides the food.
If you would like a vegetarian meal please request this when booking.
To book for the talk and/or the meal please contact Paula Raymond by
e mail to lucy@raymond606.freeserve.co.uk or by ‘phone on 01743
873986. Meals must be booked by the evening of
Sunday 9 October at the latest.
All bookings are important (whether you are staying for a meal or not).
Guests and visitors are welcome at the meetings and there is an entrance
fee of £1 & £3 respectively. Meetings are free for members.
Looking forward to seeing you there  :D
