Bazzais we resorted to lengths of angle iron hammered into the ground at 45 degrees to act as giant tent pegs for our arc (following it having taken off and flown over a fence into the next field causing my pony to jump out into the next field to be attacked by my very territorial riggy gelding :-OO)

Since then we havent had any trouble with it at all.
