I'd like the pair of them to spend a day at work with me.
I'm 6 months into restoring a very large Victorian walled garden that hadn't had a 'proper gardener' in it for a number of years. With a minimal budget and a 68 yr old part timer who has already had 3 heart attacks ::) and me just 8 hours a week I could do with a hand..
Open for 'Yellow book' in 2 weeks time... :farmer:

Decades after she dug for victory, Queen Elizabeth gives the royal seal of approval to the grow-your-own movement

As a 14-year-old, she picked up a spade and joined with the rest of wartime Britain in the Dig for Victory campaign. Seven decades later, though no longer wielding the spade herself, the Queen, 83, has again embraced the "grow your own" movement.

I came face to face with the Queen about 10/15 years ago and found her a very rude woman. Up until that point I had always been a fan but from that day on she went way down in my estimations. As for that mental embarassment husband of hers - that's a whole different story I guess.

my hubby detests the royal family, so much so if they mention them or appear anywhere he turn over the station or turn in the other direction.

Whoops. Can see this one could get inflammatory!

Personnally, I'm a Royalist - nicer hats than the Roundheads.

There are a lot of celebs? that I would happily invite to help me with my gardening, especially pulling nettles and shovelling dung.
