here is a 16th century Herbal book ....some of the pages (in red) are not available , but the blue ones are there to read. You must be aware though that when these herbals were written , they didn't realise that some of the plants were poisonous. So take care and check with a modern herbal (or doctor) to make sure that what you are doing is safe !!!! I have a version of Culpepers herbal also :
