After the recent hatching of 13 ducklings, have discovered that Sally (chicken) is sitting on 5 more.  Now wondering what is the viability of their hatching?

23 ducks and counting .....

She should do fine - just might get fed up after the 21 days, so you might have to incubate the last week.  Just keep an eye on her.  If she hatches them she will go nuts if they go near any water!!! I had a hen traised duckling and teh noise she made when they went to teh pond was incredible - she used to even run and stand in front of tehm to try to stop them going in - even when they became adults! ;D
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
