Spinning progress
« on: August 07, 2011, 11:19:34 pm »
I've been at the wheel again and this evening finished a pair of skeins.  These are a Ryeland x Alpaca blend (white Ryeland and black Suri Alpaca).  They're around 1 1/4oz, so roughly 64ft in length each.  My mum is intending to knit fingerless gloves for us...I think I have some more spinning to to...these two may make one glove...

Apologies for the bad picture - artificial light just doesn't cut the mustard sometimes!

Fantastic!  :)

Any chance you'll be selling gloves? I always get cold hands in winter and haven't seen the spinning wheel out here for a while...  ;)

I do know a lady who likes to knit, so some may be available once we get a production line going!
