sweetcorn only just planted

Only just got it in the ground, they are about 6 inches high, I saw someone elses and its about 3 feet high, made me feel depressed. :(

Mine have been in the ground a month and are little more than 6" so you're not alone - cats dug up 2 of the 8 aswell so like the tomatoes they're on my bad list this year :(

My first lot all died, so my second lot have just gone in.  Mine are smaller than yours!  (Does that make you feel better?  LOL.  I hope so)

I've got sweetcorn for the first time this year so don't know what to expect (except hopefully corn of course ha ha) mine are about 6 inches tall and the cats have left them alone remarkably.  Is it true I'll only get one cob per plant if I'm lucky???? ???

I planted a whole packet. Only three germinated, then a slug ate two. The final one is now about 5" tall despite having been on the go for months now.
