I wonder indeed  ;D

I was braced for a huge inbox today - sadly it's not happened...yet. Not even one response  :( Still, it might take a wee while for things to get going  ;)

Perhaps I should be glad my name wasn't mentioned then ;)

Think you must mean 'Smallholder' - I got my 'Country Smallholding' and can't find anything in it about the BIG EVENT.  However, on p.8 there is the most wonderful pic of a woman jumping her COW over a horse jump, all saddled up.  Now that I would love to see   Anyone got a cow to train before Aug 2012?

I have several cows can jump pretty much any fence when the mood (and hormones) take them...  Georgie is due to calve in a couple of weeks, rather too young for her first calf, but she's right he is a very handsome Galloway bull next door...   ::)

I'm sure Hillie (the Jersey) would let me ride her.  But I'm too big for her really.

Barbara Woodhouse (she of the famous dog-training "SITTTTTTTTT!" command) used to ride her dad's cows when she was a little girl as he wouldn't buy her a horse.  I think I'm correct in remembering that she used to follow the hounds on her cow?

Sorry, all off topic.  :smacked wrist:
