Posting on behalf of a friend......

2 Large Black sows, bloodlines Diana & Warbler, almost 5 years old, have been running with a Mangalitza boar. Owner is selling as they want to concentrate on the Managlitza's - £100 for the pair, registrations will be transferred to you.
These are 2 of the 335 registered sows in the UK - the Large Black is the very rarest of all our native breeds and they really are lovely pigs to keep - please help keep the breed going and get yourself some chilled out pigs in the process  ;)

Please email Cheralynn Pieters at info@quarryheadfinemeats.co.uk if you're interested.

We got two weaner Large Blacks from Cheralyn and they were a joy.  Hardest part was sending off for slaughter but it was always on the cards.  We got the meat weighed and priced by a butcher who sells rare breed meat and the value was about £800 for the two.  It was also delicious.
