Failed Broody!

She sat well for the whole term however managed to squash all the chicks that hatched.  I have left her on the remaining eggs for a few days but no more showing signs.

Do I just chuck her off now,  I beleive that she would not be in good form to stick more eggs under her.  Is this correct.

Many thanks as usual

Sorry about the squished chicks  :-\

Yes, I'd chuck her off now, she will need to build herself back up again after not eating or drinking or moving much over the last three weeks.

Problem has rectified itself.  The door of the hut blew open in the strong winds last night and must have chilled her as she is off the eggs now.  Sadly the remaing eggs were all fully formed but failed to hatch.

Many thanks
