A farmer in the Mid West bought a pedigree rooster.
When he got home, he put the bird into the farmyard, whereupon the rooster rounded up all the hens and serviced them.
Then he proceeded to do the same with all the ducks and geese.
After he'd finished, he flopped on his back with his legs in the air and his head on one side.
The farmer had watched in admiration until he saw the vultures circling.
"No way", he thought and went for his shotgun.
As he was taking aim, the rooster opened on eye and said, "Let 'em settle".
