hand cranked potatoe scraper

In the late 60s my mum had a potato peeler - well actually it scraped them like you can still see in the commercial ones. It had a moving bottom and it and the sides were rough and the potatoes bobbed about and were scratched clean. would love to have similar.

we had one of them when i was growing up it was very cool!!!

Yup - My Mum had one with four big rubber suction feet on the bottom.  And a hand turned mincer that fixed to the edge of the kitchen table
