I like Carole Klein - but I'm not a big GW fan and I find Monty Don incredibly patronising. BUT I do have one of his books called "The Weekend Gardener" (I wish) and it's very good.

HUGE relief.   I like GW but the previous series with 'that bloke'.....who made such an impression I can't even remember his name.....was just unwatchable for me.    Monty Don is back where he belongs (especially as its his own garden) and doing what he 'presents' best.  Didn't like him in that Dream Farm series, but as a Gardener - perfik.    CArole Klein and Jo Swift are and always have been great to watch and listen to, so all in all, for me.......10/10  ;D

:D  My thoughts exactly. I didn't watch it either, I saw a few clips and that was enough.

Glad Monty's back and looking well. I like him. Really liked his 'Fork to Fork' series a few years back.

Such a relief they are back in a proper garden (esp Monty's!) rather than that hideous place they tried to create on the last series. I just thought that looked so ugly and couldnt bear to watch the programme.

Loved the winter garden Carol went to - esp those white trunked himalayan birches, am thinking of making a copse like that here as birch is one of the few things that does well on our expose hillside! Tho will probably wait until I havent got 6 inches of snow on the ground...
