Welcome from Brittany where for the first time we are having trouble from foxes.  I like cows from a distance but am a pig enthusiast.

Rosemary I have started a thread on managing the house cow in Cattle, as you suggest.

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
