Chateun Chickens?
« on: January 27, 2011, 12:11:09 pm »

An odd request, but bear with me!  A few years ago we were at a farm park, having a look at different breeds of hens. One of them was brown or black, but had loads of little white blotches all over it, which made us christen it the "Chateun Chicken" (try saying it with a really heavy french accent!  ;) - it certainly looked as though they had been!).

Bikerene's earlier post re breeds got me thinking about this again, and now I wonder what those birds actually were. Any ideas folks?
