What are you using to insert the tags?

We've three pigs and whilst they're not for eating I will want to tag them soon enough so they can go to shows and suchlike.

Your Kune Kunes will get button tags sent along with their pedigrees - use the multiplier tag applicator (available from Fearings) to insert these.

Was thinking about taking them along to our local annual village gala, if the council agree I can. There's been a lot of interest in the village since we got them and I thought it'd be nice for more people to get the chance to meet them and find out more about the breed.

the biggest problem is if you unload them into a pen (movement licence to get back home )the best way is if you can use the ramp of the trailer with a gate across the back that way there trotters never touch the ground no problem with the licence if you are interested in this method we can send pictures

the abbatoir staff were relaxed and unhurried........and we walked them into the lairage gently along and didn't feel rushed at all.

My OH is working in the porcherie, he was impressed by the "humanity" shown by most of the staff and the speed of dispatch as well as the lack of stress.
