Just get a replacement tag, keep safe (and ready for any inspection should you get one). It might be advisable to speak to the vet and make him/her aware, so they could back you up on animal welfare grounds in case AH gets dificult. But I have found in the past they were not intent on really finding anything to haul you up on... (I got inspected for my pigs one year, and also by TS, but both were very helpful).
