Pig housing
« on: March 04, 2024, 03:59:32 pm »
Hi all,

I've been looking at expanding our pig venture!
We have an outbuilding at the moment that would be suitable for pigs and it can connect to an outside paddock for them, fully stock fenced and pig proof.
How many pigs could stay in the outbuilding overnight (door would be left open so they have access to outside )
it would only be for sleeping purposes. The outbuilding is 20m2. Outdoor paddock wise we have the ability to make another few paddocks that connect , we were aiming to get another 6 to rear for meat.
Thought id ask on here as you lot have always been so helpful!

Thanks!

Our pig arc is 2.4 x 2.4m and 3 saddlebacks fit in it fine just before slaughter. If that helps?
