We have 14 blackrock hens and they produce a lot of eggs in the  and we have trouble stopping them going off in the summer-spring period because we do not have a lot of fringe spare any ideas on storing them.

I give mine to friends and neighbours for a contribution to their feed or for looking after them when I am away, and as gifts or exchanges for other things, sometimes as raffle prizes.  They can be frozen once opened, made into cakes/puddings/ meals and frozen but if you don't have a freezer you're stuck, how about pickled eggs - but only so many of those you can eat.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
