Hi there, it's my first post today.

I've been asked by people down my local if I could sell them pig dung for there gardens, as were totally new to smallholding (only three months) I have no idea how much to sell it for it will be 25kg bags.

Thank you in advance, and for any advice anyone can give me.

If you're able to sell your pigs' poo at a profit, you're doing better than most of us. We struggle to break even on the meat!

I find with these things, it's better to keep money out of it. If you bank favours instead, you end up getting paid in better and more interesting ways. In this case, my response would be "buy me a beer".

We give manure away - we have loads. But if you can sell it, go for it. We trade for wine

Bartering is SOOO much more fun than just swapping plastic pictures of the Queen.

Hi , poo for pints sounds like an excellent currency ... I planted sweetcorn, onions and potatoes on a recovering enclosure used last year. Results were amazing!

That's amazing, sometimes there's more to money in life, trying to diversify ourselves, were selling our Eggs in our local pub in Blairgowrie and with the money we do make were going to buy more hens.
