Hello from a prospective :goat: holder!
« on: February 09, 2020, 09:55:18 pm »
Hi, my name is Louise and I live in the Highlands of Scotland. I would love to become an accidental small holder, but currently only have dogs, chickens and two kids :-) However, I'm hoping to purchase a few dairy goats this year to make a start of what may hopefully one day became a proper dairy farm (even if only small scale). There is so much to learn, but it's totally fascinating and so interesting. I joined this site as I'm hoping to meet people who are willing to share their experiences, perhaps even have me visit them (if not too far away!) and see what set up they have. Looking forward to engage with many of you, I'm already enjoying the facebook posts!

Hi Louise and welcome to the forum.  Unfortunately I know nothing about keeping goats, but I'm pretty sure a goaty member will be along fairly soon.  Good luck.

Good luck with it and welcome to the site!
I had a few goats, found them ‘tricky’, so all the best with yours!
