Tree hay
« on: January 11, 2019, 07:53:27 am »
Just a quick post to say I've been inundated with offers of Christmas trees following an appeal in my local community group which was picked up by the local paper and tv station.  I've collected ~100 which will keep my livestock fed until Easter, easily!  This "tree hay" is great supplementation  for their normal hay and feed and gives access to minerals they wouldn't have without the "incoming fodder".  Just a thought that with the fodder shortage this year, others may want to do the same thing before people get around to taking them to the tip.
Excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise, risking more than others think is safe, dreaming more than others think is practical and expecting more than others think is possible.
