Thinking about adding Paddock Sweeper Hire to our current services.

Is there anyone who would be interested in this?

Was thinking it could be hired per day or per week.

Drop off/Collection would be available.

Thanks

I would say that in order to get any meaningful idea of the interest there might be, you need to give some idea of the sort of rent you would be charging. Everything has its price.

It's no good asking people how much they would be prepared to pay as they'll obviously say as little as possible - ie something like £5/day, which obviously isn't sustainable.

So ideally you need to work out how much you would expect to pay for a suitable machine, how much you would need to hire it out for to make it profitable, and realistically how often, and then maybe put an advert, giving the price, on Facebook, local newspaper etc, which will give you a much more realistic idea of the local demand, than posting on here which is nationwide.

Dunno. The difficulty here is that poo picking needs to be daily or at least very regularly so hiring a sweeper would need to be very regular, or for one off occasions like cleaning a paddock before a new owner/ tenant. Would I hire one once a week- maybe but by then the paddock is pretty s....

My wife picks the fields twice a day, so leaving it unpicked for any period of time would not be acceptable to her.  We do not have enough paddock areas to rotate the grazing.  She is a bit OTT about it compared to most others.

A paddock sweeper is something that we would be very interested in, but as we would still insist on having the paddock swept every day, then hiring in the service would not work for us.
