Runny eye

Hi everyone,

I have a yearling steer who has had a runny eye for a few weeks, the vets have treated twice with opticlox for suspected New forest Eye, but it's still no better.
His eye is clear and he is fine, its just a very wet eye.

Anyone had any experience of this before?
Any advice much appreciated

Thanks!

Sometimes they need an injection of antibiotic and anti inflammatory as well as the cream.  If it's not improved I'd ask your vet,  they may just give you an injection for it

We had a cow with new forest eye earlier in the year, she needed opticlox every day for 5 days plus long acting antibiotic (I think it was ultrapen LA, under the skin) and anti-inflamatory.
