Title: Smallholding in Wales
Post by: doganjo on August 16, 2018, 02:43:24 pm
My friend Margaret is downsizing and this beautiful property is now for sale, just a few miles from Llanfair, in the Welshpool area

The house itself is lovely, listed as three bedrooms, but the study/office on the ground floor could be used for guests.  It has a really nice swimming pool building with sauna, showers, bar. It is a registered smallholding

The house grounds have been beautifully landscaped, Mar loves her gardens.  ;D  There is a fish stocked lake with a summerhouse, and a second lake being constructed. I caught a nice fat trout there a couple of years ago when I visited. All in all there are 9 acres which includes the 2 garden ones.

Lots of kennels and dog runs, a huge workshop that Pete used to practically live in - he was always tinkering with some piece of machinery, and a large room above it which could easily be converted to living accommodation.

If I lived in Wales or near enough I'd want it.  I've always loved it.
