Title: Banana yogurt
Post by: Rupert the bear on August 04, 2018, 03:09:49 pm
I have a lot of bananas, the goats have had a few but I though about banana yogurt , but should I just slice then and add to yogurt  or pulp them or extract the juice and add ?  Any Ideas ?

I think both, and then report back and tell us which was better.  :)

Extract the juice !  adding pulped banana to the yogurt not so good  it was difficult  to mix , using a blender was too fast and produced a tasty but too aerated foam , but in the interests etc etc etc   slow mixing and it wouldn't  evenly distribute.

munchkin used nanas 7 strawberries  in yoghurt & made me a smoothie .  Whizzzed  half a glass of crushed ice in the jug to make it finer ,  added the yoghurt .gently stirred it in top to bottom . Then added a blended half  nana & a couple of strawberries with a teaspoon of sugar  into the iced yoghurt.
She said it tastes awful  without the sugar .

I guess she must be right for I enjoyed it
