been away for nearly a year, finally got back on the web again lol!
thought id re-introduce myself, i no longer keep sheep, sold the last of my own flock this spring, im down to 2 collies, all my registered stock have been sold to working homes, down to holly my tricolor bitch + her daughter sky, im now spending a lot more time hunting, ive a pair of very well bred working terriers, 1 patterdale, 1 lakeland x patterdale also doing well in the show ring in working terrier shows, ive also got a cracking little colliexwhippet pup who is showing promise rabbiting + a few ferrets
still have a wide assortment of fowl rangeing from my turkey to my shamo to my buff sussex, crossbred ducks to my quail, sold my geese after the gander kept killing hens, doing a bit of shooting now, my veg patch was sabotaged by the animals this year but oh well, theres always next year, built a greenhouse out of a few old windows as well.

Hello and welcome back. I have 5 geese plus an "adopted" wild one with my 18 ducks and 18 hens and have never had any trouble. Mind you the geese are not slow in chasing anything off if there is food on offer. :)

the gander was reared with the hens, just started catching them and shakeing them to death if i wasnt around to drive him off in spring, he was fine with the ducks + his geese, i know it was breeding season but he was freerange + still killing them, always a good laying hen he'd kill too. never the badly bred crossbreed or rooster.
