Post by: abrewster on June 24, 2018, 09:27:14 am
Good morning.

I am looking for anyone that has a willow tree that I could take a cutting from to grow on farm.

I am looking to have many different varities . This would also work with. Poplar aspen and alder.
Can pay if necessary
Thanks

You can't stop willow growing - plant it any time of the year.

Hi Moira, got plenty for you - want to come and cut it yourself?  You can see your duck children and grandchildren at the same time  :excited:  Bring Brewster too

I've got some (spoke to Andrew earlier) :-)
Mojocafe there's a fair few trees so plenty for you too.
Maybe doganjo has different/more varieties though?
Also got some apple free seedlings that you might like: just crabs but could be grafted over with proper variety at a later date?

I don't know what type of willow I have but it produces very long thin branches - zillions of them and i wish I'd never planted the b"£$%y things  :coat:
