Post by: DavidandCollette on May 16, 2018, 09:17:30 am
I have two piglets 12 weeks old. This morning one of them has a very snotty nose. Can anyone help please?

See thread below on atrophic rhinitis. Hopefully not and just an isolated thing for you piglet that will clear up but it can't be discounted.

Or could be a pneumonia, worth seeing the vet in case it needs some antibiotics or something

Is the 'snot' clear? If so it may simply be dirt or a foreign object. Mine get quite snotty of they do a lot of rooting - I assume it's a way of self-cleaning the nose.
If it's green/brown/yellow - vet needed.
