Title: Pig Behaviour - Nosing
Post by: bluewatersailor06 on April 05, 2018, 09:08:40 am
Has anyone here had any problems with gilts suddenly starting to rub the underbelly of other gilts who they have previously lived happily with?

So far no damage has been caused but they have sufficient food and water and a large paddock.  Do I need to separate them - if so would this be permanent?

Advice please.

How old?  They may be coming into season and hoping one of their sisters will transform into a boar.

I would follow the same thoughts as Marches Farmer. Seems like a bit of confusion and nothing to worry about.
