Hello :)
I am not at the small holding stage yet, but working on it :)
For now I am starting to grow cut flowers in my garden, eventually for sale. we have just moved to a village near Eyemouth and need to get the garden sorted out as soon as the weather allows.
I have an HNC in Horticulture and before having a baby I worked for The National Trust in Kent as an Organic Veg Gardener.
Looking forward to getting to know you

Hello Kate, so sorry that no-one has greeted you   I hope you enjoy being on this forum which is excellent and full of information  I am not a gardener but there are lots on here, who will be interested in your plans. Good luck :) :)

Hi Kate  from Shropshire.
Sorry I didn't spot this earlier. I'm an organic vegetable gardener myself but only in my own garden. I keep goats so my veggie beds are always well manured. ;D

Hello Kate.
It's a bit of a mystery how we all missed your intro, but hello and welcome.
I'm across a bit from you, just beyond the Borders in South Lanarks. I grow organically, mainly veg but I'm getting into flowers too - mostly not for picking though, just to look beautiful.
Like you, I " need to get the garden sorted out as soon as the weather allows." It's snowing at the moment and about to get worse :garden:

Hi Kate, welcome from me too, I'm not far from Eyemouth either, I'm not much of a gardener, keep a few Zwartbles, 3 goats, ponies and chickens to sell eggs at the gate! Usually we raise a few pigs for the freezer too but don't have any at the moment.
