Title: Shops
Post by: Norfolk Newby on August 07, 2010, 08:45:03 am
I live in Norfolk and use a small shop on the outskirts of Norwich to get cans of malt and various other brewing essentials.

The shop isn't large, the prices aren't cheap (but not dear either), and it's a 40 mile round trip to go there. The attraction is that the shop stocks a good range of products to make wine, beer and cider. I can hire an apple crusher and press there if I want to make cider from my own apples. The chap that runs the place has a good knowledge of his stock and is happy to advise on what makes a good drink.

The shop is the Good Life Homebrew Centre on the Sweetbriar industrial estate on the west side of Norwich just off the ring road. It looks like a small industrial unit but is a shop.

Perhaps you would like to recommend a shop in your area.

Hi newby,

Would just like to say a big thanks for the link to the shop. We are moving back to Ireland and this is one of the things i would love to get into, so I know I can buy my kits before I go.
