Title: how much meat???

i am sure i have read something about this on here but before but cant find it, once a pig is slaughterd and butchered what is an average amount of sausages/bacon/gammon if this was more or less all you wanted?? will be very interested to know! :pig: :pig:

This doesnt really tell you the quantities but


80 kilo live weight

56-61   dead weight
 
44-50       meat (boned out not including head)

A lot depends on the meat to bone ratio fat to meat ratio as to how many sausages how many joints.
