Title: blood in urine
Post by: fifixx on July 22, 2010, 03:56:50 pm
I moved both my pigs today and afterwards they had a wee and it was definitely a bit bloody.  i just thought that they were both on heat (they are 10 months old) but now I am not so sure as they don't have the other wymptoms of restlessness and being off their food.  Any ideas?  They are happy and full of beans.

Ho Ho Ho - after calling the vet and explaining the symptoms, they thought it was some sort of kidney infection.  as I put the phone down full of woe for the extra £50 it was going to cost me, my son pointed out that they had had a sack full of beetroots this morning!!!!!!

So I called the vet and cancelled the visit - I bet they are having a good old laugh though!
