Title: wartime farm
Post by: devonlady on November 23, 2017, 08:02:50 am
Is anyone watching this programme? It's so interesting and not so much different to farming methods when I was a child! ;D

It's teh same production company as "Tales from the Green Valley", "The Tudor Monastery Farm" (filmed at Weald and Downland), "The Victorian Farm" (Acton Scott), "The Edwardian Farm" (Morwellham Quay) and "Secrets of the Castle". We love 'em  :)

I recorded it when it was on previously, unfortunately dvd recorder went kaput before I finalised the disc.  :( .
Might try again, if i remember rightly some interesting ideas and tips for the smaller farmer.
Thanks for the heads up Devon lady.
Edited-
I was in the library reading the book a couple of weeks ago, more in depth and very interesting, pity I've lost my ticket.
