Title: Hello, I'm just starting out!

Hi all. I'm new to small holding, in fact so new I have not even bought it yet! My partner and I are just at the point in our lives we want to and can make a change of life, so this is the beginning of it. We have found a small holding in Hampshire that we are interested in but still have some more home work to do before we go ahead.  I hope that you may be able to help with some of my questions in the other forums.  Thanks!  :)

You've come to the right place, This is a great site for help & advice.  We ditched the 9-5 last year & bought a place in France.  Slowly we are becoming Accidental Smallholders too  ;D  It's great fun & I wouldn't change it for the world.  Goodluck  ;)

As per Rosemary's post, yep been there dun that and still trying to get a T shirt to fit after all the weight lost through work, worry and wine. Well have to have some small reward for the efforts!!

Welcome Bella - where abouts in Hampshire are you?  We come from Fareham near Portsmouth.

Now living in a muddy, normally wet, quite sunny today Normandy, and wouldn't change our smallholding life for anything!
