Post by: langdon on July 14, 2010, 08:11:36 pm
milly and molly are eating less of their feed over the last week or so.
along with plenty of lush hay all day and in their shed at night is well i am giving
them a cup full of kwikbeet and a cup full of dry food ( twice daily morning and night ).
they used to wolf this down, now they are leaving about a little under half of that amount.
sorry i cant give pounds or kilos in food.

My old goat eats less one day but then more the next day.  Don't know why this is.  Not sure if there is anything to worry about.  If they were poorly they really wouldn't be interested in food at all.

It sounds like they have adjusted to having less food than they used to - probably full up!!  Cain and Abel are never full.  They eat half a big tub of soaked sugar beet morning and night, big scoop of goat mix, as well.  Then at night they also have a scoop of Alfa A horse chaff added to their sugar beet and goat mix, and they eat the lot!!!  Wish they would get full up occasionally ;D
