Im a bit miffed by the law am i allowed a static caravan on my plot of land as a tea room / rest room kinda thing as i can then spend the day there rather than commuting 4 times a day to my land?

We have a caravan on the land for that very reason. We had to go through planning permission for polytunnels (!!) So that was included. We now have a picnic table and bbq

yes you are, as long as it looks appropriate (no bedrooms in obvious use, etc....)
